Thyme is a sacred, uplifting and protective herb that was believed to bestow courage and good health.

It is warming, drying and aromatic and is mostly used for cold and flu-related symptoms. It's specific for bronchitis, whooping cough and similar conditions. It strengthens the lungs, helps eliminate phlegm and can help with shortness of breath.

It's a carminative herb and can help improve digestion and strengthen the stomach. It’s also antimicrobial and can be used to treat candida, peptic ulcers and diarrhoea.

It is said to protect from nightmares if taken before sleep.

Lemon Thyme has the same properties as Thymus vulgaris.
