Ingredients: fresh homegrown flowering Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium), ethanol, distilled water

Actions: analgesic, anti-parasitic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antihistaminic, bitter tonic, carminative, emmenagogue (high doses)

Use For: prevention and treatment of migraines or tension headaches (higher doses), arthritis, allergies (hay fever, urticaria, asthma), digestion, fevers, dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, menstrual and birth-related issues

Feverfew is a bitter, warming and aromatic herb that is most commonly used to prevent or treat migraines, and it can also be helpful for many types of headaches.

As a bitter tonic and carminative, it can help improve digestion.

It decreases the release of histamine, which makes it helpful for allergies such as hay fever, urticaria and asthma.

Feverfew is high in shikimate, which is antiviral, antimicrobial, anticoagulant and antithrombotic.

Historically, it has also been used for menstrual problems, to strengthen the womb (especially after labour), tinnitus and fevers.
